Renewable energy & compute infrastructure
Tonopah Energy & Compute Campus
• 171+ Acre Site
• Solar Generation
• Battery Energy Storage
• 100% Off-Grid Architecture
• Bitcoin Mining
• Future AI/HPC Infrastructure
TeslaWatt’s Tonopah development represents the foundation of our renewable-powered computing platform.
The site combines dedicated solar generation, battery energy storage and modular compute infrastructure designed for energy-intensive digital workloads.
Originally developed around Bitcoin mining, the platform provides a foundation for TeslaWatt’s future expansion into AI and high-performance computing.
The newly completed infrastructure includes approximately 1.88 MW DC of solar generation capacity, 5.44 MWh of battery energy storage, and 1.07 MW AC of inverter capacity.
Designed and built as a fully off-grid system, the project integrates solar generation, battery energy storage, advanced power management, and high-density computing infrastructure into a single platform. The system provides dedicated power for TeslaWatt’s computing operations without reliance on the traditional utility grid.
The completion of the second generation builds on TeslaWatt’s first solar deployment in Tonopah and reflects the company’s continued investment in energy infrastructure designed specifically for high-density computing.
With the second generation now operational, TeslaWatt is already preparing its next major infrastructure project planned for 2027.
The next development is expected to further expand the company’s energy generation, storage, and computing capacity. As part of this expansion, TeslaWatt plans to dedicate a portion of the new infrastructure to artificial intelligence and high-performance computing (HPC) hosting.
Access to reliable and cost-efficient power is becoming increasingly important as AI and other high-density computing applications continue to scale. TeslaWatt’s strategy is to build the energy infrastructure alongside the computing capacity, creating a flexible platform capable of supporting different workloads as technology and market demand evolve.
As the company moves toward its planned 2027 expansion, TeslaWatt intends to continue investing in renewable generation, battery energy storage, power infrastructure, and computing capacity while expanding into new segments of the data center market.
Future development - Sarcobatus solar project
• Beatty, Nye County, Nevada
• Planned Solar Capacity 244 MW
• Development Site ~800 Acres
• Solar development permit obtained
The Sarcobatus Solar Project is a proposed 244 MW solar facility spanning approximately 800 acres in Nye County, Nevada.
The project has received the required permit for development of the solar facility, marking a significant milestone toward construction and deployment.
The project will utilize a combination of fixed-tilt and single-axis tracking systems with 750W photovoltaic modules. Each unit will be paired with a small equipment enclosure housing data processing servers and modular, liquid-cooled LFP battery systems.
All generated energy is planned to be consumed on-site, enabling a distributed architecture designed around dedicated energy generation and compute infrastructure.
The project is being developed in collaboration with Energy Source Green LLC.
Designed for the future of compute
The scale and distributed architecture of the Sarcobatus development are intended to provide TeslaWatt with flexibility across multiple high-density computing applications.
Bitcoin mining remains an important component of TeslaWatt’s development strategy, while future phases are also being evaluated for AI and high-performance computing infrastructure.
This flexible approach allows TeslaWatt to deploy energy capacity toward computing applications based on technology development, customer demand and market opportunities.
Bitcoin today. AI tomorrow. Powering both.
Bitcoin mining has given TeslaWatt practical experience operating infrastructure for continuous, energy-intensive computing. Our expansion into AI/HPC builds on this existing experience rather than starting from scratch.
